Informed Comment: Bush and Rant on Red Sea Piracy: "Piracy by Somali pirates in the Red Sea region threatens to reduce world trade through the Suez Canal by about a third, and could raise petroleum prices again if the smaller oil tankers have to go around the Cape of Good Hope to Europe.
Wouldn't it be in part the duty of President Bush and the US Navy to make sure there is security on the high seas?"
Now that Rush is referring to the recession as "Obama's Recession", I suppose he will blame him for the piracy also.

TV SoundOff: Sunday Talking Heads
TV SoundOff: Sunday Talking Heads: "Hume is calling Pakistan 'dangerous' and 'danger inspiring.' So much harshness toward Pakistan on this panel! And, in my opinion, somewhat deserved, at least on an institutional level. But I wonder how many instances I could uncover from last year of this panel calling Obama's approach to Pakistan - and the notion that we would go after terrorists within their borders regardless of Pakistan's willingness to allow us to do so - crazy and dangerous? I suspect I'd do pretty well. Yet, here's Bill Kristol, talking about 'going after' terrorists within Pakistan's borders"
I read this guy every Sunday morning so that I don't have to stomach chickenhawks like Brit Hume, and Bill Kristol.

I forgot to turn off spell check and the highlights are stil visible. Not sure how to edit that out. Oh well maybe drink had something to do with it.
George W. Bush: Lame Duck Falls Off Wagon
George W. Bush: Lame Duck Falls Off Wagon: "Last weekend, President Bush attended the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Lima, Peru. Turns out you can't do anything in Peru without someone handing you Peru's national drink, the Pisco Sour (made with pisco, a brandy-like liquor). It's a pretty agreeable drink, so we wouldn't complain, but President Bush has been supposedly teetotalling for 22 years,. He avoided an international incident by downing that sucker. Peru's ANDINA press agency has some great details:"
I'm thinking he has been drunk for the past eight years. Nobody slurs their words and gets so confused mid sentence like he does unless they are drunk. Thank God we only have a few more weeks until this dip wad goes back to Crawford and resumes ranching...or brush clearing. But then I read that Laura has been looking at houses in the Houston or Dallas area (I can't remember which), and then it all comes around. GWB bought the house in Crawford when he decided to run for Governor and this gave him a theme, you know, common man not an elite eastern establishment type. A cowboy. Maybe the boy part is right the rest is bs. A boy is leaving the White House and a Man is moving in.

Jon Swift: Let Us Remember the True Meaning of Thanksgiving Before It’s Abolished
Jon Swift: Let Us Remember the True Meaning of Thanksgiving Before It’s Abolished: "This year as President Bush pardoned two turkeys, who surprisingly had nothing to do with the Savings and Loan scandals of the 1980s, he remarked that it was his “last Thanksgiving as President.” But it might be the last Thanksgiving any of us celebrate since there is a good chance that when Barack Obama takes over, he will abolish Thanksgiving along with other holidays liberals hate such as Columbus Day, Christmas and the Fourth of July."
Where do they get these guys! Please refer back to my earlier post on ignorant Fox News viewers and Limbaugh listeners. Ain't this goob going to feel stupid next year when of course, we will have July the 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and I'm thinking Easter will even roll around again. Go to his site and read the masthead. Who the hell, other than the employees of Banks, Federal, State and local governments, knows when Columbus day is.

But at least one office is not giving him a free pass.
With each day’s announcement of another cabinet or White House appointment, the Republican National Committee has been blitzing out critical statements that look no different from the blasts issued throughout the campaign. Mr. Obama’s selections so far, the Republican committee says, have been tax-raising, partisan Washington insiders, hardly the agents of change he promised."

Kathleen Parker - Voters Fail the Test - washingtonpost.com: "So much for the wisdom of The People.
A new report from the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) on the nation's civic literacy finds that most Americans are too ignorant to vote.
Out of 2,500 American quiz-takers, including college students, elected officials and other randomly selected citizens, nearly 1,800 flunked a 33-question test on basic civics. In fact, elected officials scored slightly lower than the general public with an average score of 44 percent compared to 49 percent."
And what is America's number one rated news show? Fox news. What radio commentator tells his audience to let him inform his listeners of the "important stuff". Mr. Limbaugh. Who has the number one rated opinion show on TV. Mr O'Reilly. I think we can safely draw a correlation between your IQ and where you get your information. I read somewhere that over 40% of Fox News viewers still think Iraq has WMD and we just haven't found it yet. Rush Limbaugh has told his listeners of a study that proves oil is being made as we speak at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. This guy has millions of people that believe everything he say's. And people wonder why Sarah Palin is so popular. She is just like World Wide Wrestling.

Ann Coulter's Jaw Wired Shut: Report
I did not think I would live to see the day that this 'skinny assed bitch' would be SHUT UP. Now, having said that, I will parrot Rush Limbaugh and say that " of course she should have the right to say anything she wants and I will defend that right (unless of course you want me to take up arms and actually fight for this right...at which point I will find a pimple on my ass and get the family doctor to exempt me from the possibility to fight for that or any other right...you know, I'll just wimp out. Greenspan and the Bubble - New York Times
Paul Krugman won the Nobel Prize in Economics this year, and, after reviewing a few articles I saved, I can see why. Although he won the prize for his work in trade and economies of scale (kind of a dry subject) it is this article that caught my attention back in 2005. He nailed what we are going through today. The essence is easy credit and nobody in the great investment banks wanted anyone to put the old whoaa to all that money flowing in the door. Can you blame them? CEO's making billions and directors making millions (that's called a feed back loop), hell yea! 'keep it coming love'. But I digress. Krugman has been warning of this thing for over 3 years. What has O'Reilly been ranting about? Holiday season. Yes, my friends, the use of holiday seasons as opposed to Merry Christmas. When I worked in a big retail store, it was always easier (in October or even November) to simply say "happy holidays". I meant no disrespect to Christ or Bill O'Reilly or even Fox News. I was simply trying to get a sale and move on. I was on commission and did not have the time to decide on what term to use. Period. What was Rush talking about while Krugman was earning his bona fides? Probably Bill Clinton's penis. I swear if you were alive at the time you could open an AM (oops!! open? I meant dial in) station and literally listen to ol el rushbo wax at length about Bill's penis. I guess it is one of the reasons I think Rush may be gay. Don't get me wrong, that's OK Rush. Anyway, look at the article. It reminds me of Condi saying "no one expected them to use airplanes". Right.

Jones Would Bring Broad Experience to National Security Adviser Post - washingtonpost.com
For Gods sakes we would not want to bring someone with these attributes to the table. Heaven forbid we actually hire someone that has a F*&kng brain!!! Loyalty first and foremost...just like old GWB wanted. Oh wait, Rush or Faux News will find something wrong here and the drive by media will fixate on it for day's.

George F. Will - The Knock on the Door - washingtonpost.com
I was looking for an old George Will article on the economy (he assured all is well and we are not entering a recession...he was right we are probably headed for worse) and found this.
George F. Will - The Knock on the Door - washingtonpost.com
I have always been amazed at the number of "conservative" opinion writers and talk radio heads that have not spent one day in service to the country that they claim to love with such vigor. Read the article by Will. He wrights a truly moving piece about a Marine Major that has a very difficult job. And yet if you look at the biographies of George Will, Neil Boortz, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill (6'4") O'Reilly, Cal Thomas, Michael Savage, Britt Hume, and Roger Ailes you will find a group of white men that had family connections that helped them avoid service in Korea and Viet Nam. We can even find Jonah Goldberg, a right wing commentator at the The National Review Online, whooping up the war, and when called on the fact that he is of age, no physical deferments and totally qualified...he claimed, I'm married, have children, I have an important job, I can't go to Iraq. That is typical right wing biography, qualified but to scared to serve. And these are just the bloviators, not the actual politicians that at least have the guts to run for something...safe.

President-elect promised change, picking insiders
Maybe Obama is choosing the folks that he feels will be able to get his policies pushed through. Just because he is appointing former Clinton insiders does not mean he is not the one guiding the policies. These folks know how to get done what Obama wants done. What is wrong with that? He wants to change the policies of the federal government and is choosing the people he feels can get that done. I can understand not agreeing with what he wants to do and if that is the case then just say it. Stop beating around the bush (no pun intended.)

California energy memories - Paul Krugman Blog - NYTimes.com
Speaking of Rush. I remember listening to him on those hot summer days back in '00 and '01 blaming Gray Davis for the rolling blackouts in California. Seems like it was the Republican parties friend and benefactor Enron CEO Ken Lay to blame. Rush would use his show daily to place the blame for the California energy crises at the feet of Gray Davis. He was wrong and he knew it at the time. But facts and reality have no use for Rush Limbaugh. Only spin. Check out this article from the Nobel Prize for Economics winner (again, about those facts!)

McCain Pollster Explains Loss, Calls Frank Luntz A Moron
Poetic justice indeed. Not only did Obama use Limbaugh in his victory but also that he had the money to do it. Old Rush is still rolling in the dough but I predict his influence is waning. Yes, a certain segment of society likes the authoritarian type and Rush fills that role, especially when he pulls a stunt like taking a picture of the 13 year old daughter of a supposed political enemy and comparing her to a dog on national TV. And of course it was all a mistake. A joke. This from a guy that demands "excellence in broadcasting."
The truth about Rush came out when he attempted to get his listeners to vote for Clinton in primaries that they were eligible to. His motivations were to help throw the Democratic Convention in Denver into chaos and result in rioting and fighting. Funny how it always comes back to Rush having someone else do the fighting for him. A true chicken hawk.
McCain Pollster Explains Loss, Calls Frank Luntz A Moron: "The final, and most surprising, was the Hispanic vote, which trended heavily towards Obama. McInturff said that the most effective commercial of the campaign was the Spanish-language spot, put up by the now president-elect, which claimed that conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh was a McCain ally on immigration. Mainly, however, Obama had a huge financial advantage that allowed him to make great inroads within this and other minority communities.
'If the other team has 700 million and they are spending five times as much on Spanish language media saying that crap,' he said, 'it has an effect.'"

Mass layoffs expected in NASCAR this week - Motor Sports- nbcsports.msnbc.com
Lets see...still using a 90-degree pushrod V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor that is not available on any new car in any dealership in the world. Simply put, no automobile manufacturer in the world produces a car that remotely resembles a NASCAR "stock car". Nobody. How long would an astute business man expect this business model to survive? If you worked in Detroit, MI, or Daytona Beach, FL I guess it would be until the money stops. And it has!

Why David Halberstam's "The Reckoning" Should Be Mandatory Business School Reading - Associated Content
I am a car guy. Have been all my life. I have been to numerous races at Road America, Road Atlanta, Daytona, Sebring, Talladega, Gainesville Dragway, Indianapolis Raceway Park plus assorted regional and local tracks. I have owned vehicles (lower end models I would say) and worked on that were built in Japan, Britain, Germany, and the U.S. My life has pretty much evolved around something that moves on wheels. And if I could I would have a big garage with a whole bunch of cars in it. In the early 90's though I ran across "The Reckoning" by David Halberstam, read it and realized I never really was a great fan of American Iron. Well, I should say that the '69 Chevrolet Z28 was as close to an exotic as you can get but the everyday cars where junk. The Pinto, Gremlin, Luv (pick up), Vega, Taurus SHO, the Super Birds (Charger) where all a figment of the Accounting departments imagination. Yes they sold but where are they or their progeny now. Look at Toyota, Honda and Nissan. How do U.S. car companies stand up to these guys. What about BMW. Every successful business owner or high level exec has one or wants one. And try to compare the Corvette in any of it iterations and put it next to the most successful sports car in the world...Porsche 911.
Period.

I could not help but link to this article after I read it. The 10 are absolutely the worst and show right up front what happens when short term profits and the accountants have control over the real designers, engineers and mechanics. I would add the Corvair, GM's answer to the VW, and the Matador, a real piece of junk that helped American Motors (really Frigidaire) into the ash heap of U.S. Automotive history.

Pakistan, U.S. have tacit deal on airstrikes - Washington Post- msnbc.com
If your over 6'2", skinny with a scraggly beard, and wear a turban, you best not leave the house as GWB is going to bomb the hell out of anything that lookes remotely like OBL. You know dead or alive and all that bluster. The administration is deeply concerned that if they don't get Osama then Obama has at least 4 years to do it. And he might.
Pakistan, U.S. have tacit deal on airstrikes - Washington Post- msnbc.com: "The United States and Pakistan reached tacit agreement in September on a don't-ask-don't-tell policy that allows unmanned Predator aircraft to attack suspected terrorist targets in rugged western Pakistan, according to senior officials in both countries. In recent months, the U.S. drones have fired missiles at Pakistani soil at an average rate of once every four or five days.
The officials described the deal as one in which the U.S. government refuses to publicly acknowledge the attacks while Pakistan's government continues to complain noisily about the politically sensitive strikes."

Before you believe Larry Kudlow that the housing crunch and pullback are all the fault of Jimmy Carter and the CRA check out this article. For the past tree weeks Kudlow, Rush, and Hannity have been trying to blame Carter and the CRA. Wait...as long as they blame dems and Obama then they are not only correct but goddamn geniuses. Rush, Sean and Laura ain't gonna like this social engineering project. I wonder, with the military stretched to the limits today what Laura would suggest we replace the 20% of females with. Maybe Republican pundits. Who’s Laffering now? - Paul Krugman Blog - NYTimes.com: "Who’s Laffering now?
The Bushies have used rising tax receipts since 2004 as supposed proof that tax cuts pay for themselves — carefully ignoring the fact that revenues plunged in the early years of the administration, and that the subsequent rapid growth basically just gets us back to the previous trend. Also, they’ve pretended not to notice that mainly the revenue comes from an incredible surge in corporate profits, the byproduct of an economy in which economic growth leaves most workers behind.
But anyway, the revenue surge is over.
The chart currently shown at the top of the CBO home page tells most of the story. (Sorry, getting graphics up on this blog is a real pain — no time right now.) A read of the report shows that the revenue slowdown is continuing: September 2007 revenues were only 2 percent higher than September 2006 revenues.
Bye-bye Bush revenue boom."

Cafe Talk | Talking Points Memo | WTF? Bill Clinton on Rush Limbaugh Show Day of TX Primary
As I was rummaging around the net tonight I found this wonderful article about elrushbo and, of all people, Bill Clinton. Rush had said the day before the interview that he thought he was coming down with the flu, and lo and behold it got it. The fill in host interviews Bill 'big dog' Clinton on the day of the Texas primary. Oh, Rush had the flu? What a liar. He could not face Bill (Ted Nugent would and I respect that) so he lies to his listeners and has someone else do his work. Typical. Most Limbaugh listeners want to be lied to and Rush comes through. They can't take the truth and do not want to be faced with it.

Dan Froomkin - Concierge in Chief - washingtonpost.com
Here is a former Bush aide on the Presidents speech yesterday on Wall Street warning world leaders about to much government intervention in the financial markets. It is apparent that President Bush does not have much credibility here (or as a matter of fact anywhere else.)
Dan Froomkin - Concierge in Chief - washingtonpost.com: "'Grant Aldonas, a former senior trade official in the Bush administration now with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, said the tenor of the speech suggests Bush 'does not understand his moment.' He also said the administration has lost authority to argue against government intervention in the markets.
''The disabling of capitalism has already begun and he's the one who started it,' Aldonas said. 'It rings hollow for an awful lot of people, not only in the marketplace but for world leaders abroad. . . . They are the ones who are going to have the leverage at the table.''"

Palin calls attacks 'cruel' and 'cowardly' - CNN.com
Palin calls attacks 'cruel' and 'cowardly' - CNN.com: "In response to the allegations that she was ill-prepared for interviews and debate, Randy Scheunemann, an aide assigned to Palin, called her 'brilliant' and said she has a 'photographic memory.' iReport.com: Does Palin have a political future?"
I think this is a typo as Randy meant to say she has a "photogenic memory." You know, she likes to have her picture taken and stuff. Man does elrushbo know how to chose them.

Palin calls attacks 'cruel' and 'cowardly' - CNN.com: "'Those were taken out of context and that's cruel,' Palin said. 'It's mean-spirited. It's immature. It's unprofessional and those guys are jerks if they came away with it, taking things out of context, and then tried to spread something on national news.'"
She was talking about Rush and Sean right? Yea...she was.

Dana Milbank - Selling Them Short - washingtonpost.com
This is a great article on investment tax rates as opposed to payroll tax. Lets say you are a mechanic at the local Ford dealership, and your annual salary is $60,000, your IRS tax rate will be 25%. However, if you inherited millions (such as Paris Hilton) you only pay 15% on any income from this inheritance. The Republicans think this is too much on poor Paris and want to drop the 15% even lower. At the same time they think the mechanic is OK, just work a Little harder and longer and you will earn more.

Obama Plot Skinhead Wants Dismissal
Obama Plot Skinhead Wants Dismissal
I saw this on The Huffington Post. I bet Daniel Cowarts eyes about popped out of his head when he saw the jurors walk in. Curses, foiled again.

Michael Pento: Four Words Obama Will Never Say
Michael Pento: Four Words Obama Will Never Say: "According to estimates from a 2007 study done by USA Today, the projected debt for our country could reach $59 trillion dollars because of the unfunded mandates from entitlement programs. And if you think that's scary, Richard Fisher, President and CEO of none other than the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, puts the figure in a speech given May 28th 2008 at $99.2 trillion! Medicare parts A & B account for 69% of the debt, Part D for prescription drugs (thanks George W. Bush) accounts for 17%, while Social Security accounts for just 14%. As foreboding as those estimates are for our future, it appears that recent events will preclude any substantive efforts at tackling this looming catastrophe."
And John McCain claimed he was going to balance the budget before the end of his first term. No wonder he got bad press out of that one.

Crooks and Liars
Crooks and Liars: "Nugent: I was in Chicago last week I said---Hey Obama, you might want to suck on one of these you punk? Obama, he's a piece of shit and I told him to suck on one of my machine guns...Let's hear it for them. I was in NY and I said hey Hillary---you might want to ride one of these into the sunset you worthless bitch...Since I'm in California, I'm gonna find-- she might wanna suck on my machine gun! Hey, Dianne Feinstein, ride one of these you worthless whore. Any questions? Freeedom!"
This guy calls himself a conservative. He falls into the same category as Rush, Sean, Bortz and O'Reilly. The only difference here is that Ted actually expresses his true feelings. Rush does it by compaing a 13 year old girl to a dog on national TV, Sean does it by having a nut job on his show promoting a book that is so full of lies I don't have the room to list. And Neil. Where do you begin with this guy. Neil parrots the White. O'Reilly will say anything anyway to keep his ratings up and the money flowing in. All these guys are popular as hell and they bring in more money than most small countries. These guys are to commentary what WWE is to wrestling. Check it out.

Gov. Haley Barbour
"Anybody here tonight that has thought about the 2012 presidential election needs to keep their eye on the ball," Barbour, a former Republican Party chairman, told a reception for the governors and their supporters. "We don't need to talk about 2012."
Damn. He is going to screw up Sarah Palins plans for the White House. Haley Barbour needs to but out. Rush and Sean and all the guys they want their Sarahcuda.

Flag Pin Sarah
Is Sarah wearing a flag pin? She took four questions at her highly anticipated press conference. It probably is best to just look dumb and not open your mouth to prove it. I'm really banking on her staying on the front lines of the GOP. Rush thinks she is great, Sean thinks she is presidential timber, and Bill Kristol fantasizes about her. What a gift she is...to the Democrats!

Rush and Sexuality
We are working on a post that will provide a little insight into why, none of elrushbos exes ever have anything to say about the cuddly fellow. Maybe no cuddly? I am curious as to why not one of his 3, or is it 4, wives are not all out for the guy. Maybe he does not really like women. I mean, I understand some can be mean as hell, but with his gazillions you would think one or two might speak out and lament not being in his company. We are exploring the possibilities and will report again later.
President Palin
I hope she has a great time at the GOP Governors Meeting. Run baby run!
MIAMI — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who was the vice presidential candidate on the losing ticket in last week's presidential election, will head to the Sunshine State to meet with Republican governors from around the country at their annual three day meeting.

Too Many People
OK, I admit the Chambliss post was screwed up. I had a posting about the recount in Georgia but, new to blogging, I did not realize the draft did not show up. In fact I made fun of his name and it posted before this. Now the post.
The AP reports that Georgia Representative Austin Scott, (R) Tifton, wants to reduce the early vote time from 6 weeks to 2 and the margin of victory from 50% to 45% . It would seem that Representative Scott does not have much faith in participatory democracy. I guess if your ideas for governing do not work then the next best thing is to get rid of some voters. The Republicans are well suited for this task.

Media Bias
The right claims that Obama received more favorable coverage that McCain. OK I will agree with that to some degree. But lets look at this thing a little closer. I would posit that the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team had more favorable coverage than the New York Yankees. Here you had a team that came out of nowhere beating up the big guys. The Rays were made up with unknown players and a manager that had not been in that position previously. The Yankees had marquee players, a great manager and a fan base all over the world and they had a decent season (well over .500 anyway.) The Rays had all the good stuff. Last year they were the worst team in the AL this year they made the World Series. All late summer the baseball press and even the regular press were saying great things about them. More stories, more background, everything different than last year. The same thing happened in the campaign. Obama had good things happen and it was reported. McCain had good things happen and they were reported. Obama just had more.
Commander In Chief
Sarah has been all over the TV lately and I think I heard her say that she was ok with Obama being our Commander In Chief. That really shows how much she does not know about how our government works. If you are a citizen of the United States and not in the military, then George W. Bush is your President and Barack Obama will be your President after his inauguration in January. If you are in the military then George W. Bush is your Commander In Chief and Obama will be your Commnder In Chief after January 20, 2009. Lets put that to bed.

Greta Van Susterten Interviews Sarah Palin
I just watched Greta Van Susteren interview Sarah about the clothes. Hmmm...of course she should have gotten some advice from the RNC, she was about to go world wide, TV, Internet, radio, you name it she was on it. But was it not a little disingenuous to project her as a "hockey mom" or a "Wal-Mart mom." And Greta was very easy on her about all of the above. But then Greta earns over two million a year with Fox News. Now I ask, would you pose the tough questions when your employer is the former head (Roger Ailes) of the GOP. Are you going to put your $2,000,000 a year salary in jeopardy by asking a real question? No you would not. Oh and ain't it funny that her husband is Bhopal John. Yea, John Coale...The guy parachuted into Bhopal, India for lawsuits as soon as the wind cleared the way. Talk about ambulance chasers!!
TPMCafe | Talking Points Memo | Was Georgia a Neo-Con Conspiracy? A Lesson for Obama
Did the neocons attempt an late summer surprise?
TPMCafe Talking Points Memo Was Georgia a Neo-Con Conspiracy? A Lesson for Obama: "The Georgia fighting occurred immediately before the Democratic convention in Denver. McCain, the leading public advocate for Georgia, immediately declared 'we are all Georgians now' and promised 'to blast Russia.' Obama, on vacation in Hawaii, at first called for greater diplomacy, but quickly fell in line with a bipartisan consensus of national security advisers and the mainstream media. Obama's national security adviser, Susan Rice, openly applauded the White House for its rapid response, including support for NATO's inclusion of Georgia and the Ukraine and a one billion dollar emergency appropriation."

No More Blaming Carter
Well Rush has finally put President Carter out to pasture in the blame game. As of 10:00 AM on 05 Nov 2008 every mess we are in was caused by President-Elect Obama. Good ol Rush has determined it is all Obamas fault. I can't wait for Monday to find out if Rush is going to blame Obama for the cyst that was on his ass that excused him conveniently from the Viet Nam war. What a hero ol Rush is. One of the bravest men I ever listened to. Hell he took on a 13 year old girl on national TV and compared her looks to a dog. What a guy!
And how about Sean! He wants Obama to succeed. Thank god I didn't hold my breath waiting for that to pass. Mere moments later he goes right back to worrying about his association with known domestic terrorists. Thanks Sean, you didn't let me down. I was worried.

First Post
Well here we are. I have a lot to say but am not sure where to start. This blog will be dedicated to politics and specifically keeping the old eyeball on the right wing media. We love to listen to Rush, Sean, O'Reilly, and in particular Neil Bortz. Neil went to high school right down the street from my home. I go by daily and just gush over the fact that such a blow hard chicken S**t was educated right there. I guess there is something about public education that needs to be addressed.
And I promise to daily approach someone my age (early 50's) and ask if they can repeat something from the Constitution of the United States of America and post the response, just like Sean has done to young people all over the U.S.
And Rush...Oh Rush. So much to say and so little time to say it. I recall ol Rush saying something about the dems not seeing something because they did not want to see it. So true of todays so called "conservatives".
